Prioritizing Change

Our current mood is a bit scattered today, so Koda’s expression sums it up perfectly πŸ˜πŸ€£πŸ€”

How often do we wake up and feel motivated for change and end up letting others affect us, or distract us from our path?

Maybe we are the “others” we let distract us. Anxiety about the future and what to do can be paralyzing when we stay in our heads. The past can also be a powerful debilitator when we carry it into the present.

Then we view the present circumstances through a past lens and end up repeating experiences again and again. And we wonder why we don’t experience change…

If we allow others to infiltrate our mental space too much, we also won’t have any room for growth and change. Whether those others are people from our past or present. Or maybe people we don’t even know!

If we are scrolling our social feeds and comparing, we will get trapped in a creative comparison paralysis. That’s why one of my mentors, Marie Forleo, and others, repeatedly say, create before you consume.

➑️ What you make your priority will create your life.

πŸ’— What are you prioritizing today?
πŸ’— What will you create or enjoy to move you closer to the change you seek?
πŸ’— Have you written down what changes you want to make?

If you feel stuck or unsure, write down what ISN’T working and doesn’t feel good or bring joy, and brainstorm ways you can create change for each of the things you wrote. Maybe meditate on the question, quiet your mind, and see what comes to you.

It’s in you to do. I believe in you. Koda believes in you. You got this. Now let’s get creating the beautiful lives we deserve!! πŸ’—πŸ‘
